When duties seem endless and high stress levels are the norm, few activities are as effective at restoring our wellbeing as simply enjoying Nature.
This is the time of year when people start planning more outdoor activities and seeking natural areas, including those around the home. Much thought is put into the patio, pool and dining areas. There is, however, one space that is often not considered and should not be overlooked, and that is the private space area. This can be the space where you go to unwind, relax and just have a little peace and quite. We like to call it “the enchanted garden.” Everyone needs an enchanted natural space where they can get away. It is great to have spaces where family and friends can gather, but it is also important to have a special place just for you, and maybe a special friend or two, where you can relax and embrace all that Nature has to offer.
Not only is being outside an enjoyable experience, but it is also a healthy one. There are countless studies that attest to the fact that being outdoors isn’t just fun, it is also good for you. According to one researcher, “One of the key benefits of being outdoors is the production of vitamin D which helps the body absorb iron, calcium and zinc. It also helps maintain healthy muscle, and healthy nervous and immune systems. Exposure to sunlight triggers the process that produces vitamin D in the body” (Underwood 2016). Research additionally shows that spending time in nature can lower stress levels. According to psychologist Judith Heerwagon, just looking at a garden or trees can reduce stress. It seems that being outdoors has many benefits, for your health, the environment, and your wallet, that can help make life more enjoyable. All you have to do is give yourself permission to unwind, and let Nature do her work.
This month we have featured a beautiful loveseat created by Dwayne just for the purpose of enjoying some “me” time. The loveseat can be set in an out of way place in the garden or near a pond or lake. Adding a few embellishments to the area such as flowers, decorative outdoor art (Dwayne can help you with that as well) and a bird feeder or two add great natural elements that will enhance the area adding more sensory pleasure. Creating a space just for you where you can recharge, reboot and rejuvenate is good for your soul and your health.
This summer as you are thinking of your outdoor areas, don’t forget a little tucked away space that will provide peace, quiet and a healthy dose of the outdoors. The loveseat featured in this month’s newsletter, or one that you have custom designed with Dwayne, is the perfect seating for a space that gets you closer to Nature and optimum health and wellbeing.

DiY is very much in trend than why not in furniture right…??? Well, at weekend everyone goes out with their near and dear ones but what if the date ended up waiting outside of restaurant or eateries… which happens generally due to over load on the management of cafe, restaurants or eateries.. in spite of wasting time their why not buy a perfect pocket friendly outdoor furniture and you could use it not only for dinner or date or at weekends you can also use it in bright sunny day.. or for garden party etc…..
