At Stone 2 Furniture, we pride ourselves in the quality and beauty of our outdoor furniture. Many of our customers agree with us and continue to add to their collection of Stone Furniture. Indeed, 35% of our customers are repeat customers. We think that says a lot about the beauty, quality and low maintenance that our furniture provides.
Our customers Christie and Kim have been a part of the Stone 2 Furniture family for years. We first met Christie and Kim at an art show in Denver. They bought a Deep Seating Set and then later added a Bar Set, Dining Set, Benches, Bistro Set, Ottomans and a Fire Pit with Curved Benches. What they loved about the furniture is how it compliments their outdoor surroundings, is easy to maintain and offers ample comfortable seating for their friends and family. They loved their stone furniture so much that, when they decided to have a house in Maine, they knew they would want to add to their collection for their second home.
One of the things that people ask us about is setting up the furniture. After all, it is stone. According to Christie, though, setting up the furniture in Maine was easy. Christie wrote to tell us that “Set up was easy except for the table top. That thing is massive! Our friend Jim made a plywood ramp that led from the driveway where the truck put the pallets all the way to the deck. So we just used a dolly and those carpeted square frames with wheels that you use to move furniture and zipped things right into place. We ended up leaving the table top on the pallet and leveraging the pallet into the furniture movers. We took it down the ramp to the top deck level like that. Then we had 4 guys basically transfer it laterally onto the frame and then moved it into place on the frame. We really needed 6 guys but it made it! Kim and I did all the chairs etc.” If you don’t have friends to help we can always arrange to have our White Glove Service assist with the set up if it is available in your area.
Also, know that once your furniture is in place, it is there to stay, unless of course you want to move it. With Stone Furniture you just need to set it and forget it. It will not blow away and there is little maintenance needed for the furniture. You won’t spend time taking care of your furniture; you will spend time enjoying the beauty of the outdoors relaxing in your furniture. According to Christie,”The deep seating set is in its permanent spot for sure.” Knowing that your furniture is going to stay put and be ready for you when you are ready offers peace of mind.
One of the things that our clients like about their Stone Furniture is that it isn’t like anything else. According to Christie, “The FedEx guy wanted to know where we found the furniture, the Bedrock Gazette? That one was new to us but of course everyone up here is now saying we’re the Flintstones.” We hear that a lot as well, and we take it as a compliment. We don’t make the stone, Mother Nature created it centuries ago, and we simply put it to good use by creating functional art that will continue to look beautiful and be functional for years to come.
We look forward to assisting you when you decide to add to your collection. And we welcome anyone that wants to join the “family” and begin your collection.
