Our Mission

We want to create a long lasting, sustainable, natural product. Stone 2 Furniture is designed for comfort, each piece is made to order. We will find your stone, colors, texture and style to create a custom look for your setting. Stone 2 Furniture is quite a vibe.

Our design is aimed to reflect the beauty of nature, yet withstand the destruction of nature. Materials that were destined for the landfill are repurposed and up-cycled into creating long sustaining products. We source our materials from local small businesses and take pride in supporting local family owned businesses

My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty.

I love the design process. From start to finish, hunting the right stone, working the shapes to fit in sculpture and designing the frames. I love the surprising colors patterns and interesting textures of nature. Showcasing the natural beauty of the stone is my inspiration.

The way an area is set creates an energy. Whether it is a beautiful space to have your morning coffee, a family gathering or a meditation garden, our pieces draw you in. It is important to me that the natural lines of the stone are highlighted while maintaining maximum comfort. The stone pieces are set to take the weight off your sacrum as the stone hugs your back body as you melt into its shape. It truly is a sensory experience. I am excited to create the perfect piece for your most perfect space!

I've been obsessed with stone for about 24 years now. When I was given the opportunity, for the last 3 and a half years, to apprentice for Jill with Stone 2 Furniture it was an amazing chance to hone my love of stone with a practical concept that could be cherished for a lifetime. It was a definite labor of love that gave me another level of understanding, of the beauty and timelessness of stone. As a craftsman who practices masonry for a career it gave me the chance to really showcase the natural lines and raw colors within a realm I don’t get to share in day to day. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been together 24 years and have 2 amazing kids. We met in 2000 at Fiona’s Deli, in Fort Collins, Co. and it was butterflies and boogie from then on. We have two amazing kids Emma and Max, who are the epitome of life.
